From 1 January 2025, a uniform tax rate of 20% will apply to the income received in the Entrepreneur Account, regardless of the annual income. Changes to the price list of LHV banking services

As of 1 April 2024, the USD interest rate for an LHV leveraged loan will change, and as of 1 May 2024, a new price list for banking services will apply. The changes mainly concern the depositing of cash. For clients who do not make large monthly cash deposits, not much will change.

Annika Goroško to become a Member of the Management Board of LHV Pank

In accordance with the resolution of the Supervisory Board of LHV Pank, the current Head of Retail Banking, Annika Goroško, will join the bank’s Management Board from 1 March. Thursday, 15 February, marks the start of the income tax return season. However, there is no need to hurry, as income can be declared until the end of April, and refunding of the income tax does not depend on the speed of submitting the tax return.

LHV pension funds helped finance the acquisition of two Latvian companies by an Estonian veterinary wholesaler

Dimedium Group OÜ, a wholesaler of veterinary medicines, animal, fish and pet products, acquired two companies in Latvia – the facilities of Kurzeme CMAS and Latgale CMAS – with an investment in the form of bonds. Important information for ID-card users

Due to a threat assessment, the Government of the Republic has decided, as of 24.00 on the evening of 3 November, to suspend the certificates of all ID-cards issued after 16 October 2014. In a week’s time, on 7 February LHV will disclose the company’s unaudited results for 2016 and for Q4. On the same day 11.00 AM LHV will also release the financial plan for 2017. Additionally this year LHV Group will start publishing monthly result overviews. Results of January 2016 will be disclosed through the market system on 14 February.

LHV’s operation hours during the holidays

During Christmas and New Year there will be changes to the regular business hours of LHV. Please bear in mind these changes in order to avoid any possible inconveniences.

LHV launches passive pension funds

In addition to its actively managed pension funds, LHV Group’s subsidiary LHV Varahaldus will start offering two passively managed pension funds – the second pillar fund LHV Pensionifond Indeks and the third pillar fund LHV Pensionifond Indeks Pluss – as of this week.

New Tartu office open for business

As of today we offer our services in Tartu at Ülikooli street 2a. LHV’s new office is located in a brand new office building and is more accessible, more spacious and more comfortable than before. The client office is equipped with a new 24/7 ATM.

Our website got a new look and content

LHV website has been updated so it is easier to use, responsive to different devices and accords to our new visual identity. New architecture makes services and content simpler to find. The objective of the update is to improve clients’ online user experience.

LHV to set up passively managed pension funds with a 0.39% management fee

This autumn, LHV Varahaldus is set to introduce two new passively-investing pension funds to the pension market. For both the II pillar fund LHV Pensionifond Indeks and III pillar LHV Pensionifond Indeks Pluss, the annual management fee will be 0.39%. The funds will have no entry or exit fees. The funds’ assets will be constantly and broadly invested in index-following liquid investment funds.

LHV Pank begins issuing contactless payment cards

LHV overhauled its range of bank cards: as an innovation, all bank cards issued from 22 August now feature the contactless payment option. This means that the contactless payment card can be used to make purchases of up to 10 € without inserting the card into the payment terminal or entering your PIN. Bigger purchases can be made using the contactless card as per usual. Contactless technology is used also by LHV’s ATMs and payment terminals.

100,000th customer joins LHV Pank

LHV Pank reached an important milestone when the one hundred thousandth customer opened their account at the bank. This year has seen approximately 2500 new customers switch over to the bank every month, and according to Erki Kilu, Chairman of the Management Board of LHV Pank, it is a delight that so many people and businesses have entrusted their finances to LHV. Last year, more than 15,000 customers opened accounts at LHV.
