The Banker names LHV the best bank in Estonia

The Banker named LHV Pank the Bank of the Year in Estonia 2019 at The Banker’s Bank of the Year Awards 2019, which was held last night.

At the awards ceremony in Piccadilly, London, LHV Pank was recognised for its ambitious growth, excellent financial performance, introduction of new opportunities and technological innovation. “Since the beginning in 2009, LHV Pank has embraced quality in customer experience, but also cutting edge technological solutions. Offering services at the intersection of these two aspects has proven to be key in creating value added relationships with customers – retail, corporates and fintechs alike,” said Erki Kilu, Chairman of the Management Board of LHV Pank, when accepting the award.

The Bank of the Year Awards is an annual competition held by The Banker, which is always watched closely by the banking industry. In the competition, the world’s leading banks are evaluated on the basis of their profit-making ability, strategic success and level of services. The winners will be selected globally, regionally and nationally. This year, the Agricultural Bank of China was named Best Bank of the Year, and Raiffeisen Bank International was named Bank of the Year in Central and Eastern Europe.
