Should you still choose to visit our branch, make sure you bring:
- a valid identity document
- an appropriate (notarised) authorisation document, if you serve as a representative
- if you wish to open an account for a minor, make sure you also bring:
- the child’s birth certificate;
- the child’s valid identity document, if the child is at least 7 years old
- Please fill in the form for opening an account.
- Book an appointment to our client office in this appointment form.
When we have confirmed the appointment time and you are coming to our client office, please make sure you bring:
- a valid identity document (for example a passport or ID-card)
- certificate from Estonian educational institution regarding enrolment
In the office we will make face-to-face identification and sign the client agreement with you.

- To change transfer limits, go to Internet Bank: Information And Settings → Accounts and limits → Change transfer limits.
- To change daily and monthly limits for card transactions (cash withdrawals, card and contactless payments, and online purchases) in the card view when logged in to the Mobile app or Internet Bank.

To ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible, please follow these steps:
1. First, send the documents proving your right of inheritance to parimine@lhv.ee.
- You can download a digital version of the certificate of inheritance from the www.eesti.ee portal under notarial documents.
- If you prefer to submit paper documents, you can bring them to our client office. Please book an appointment in advance for this.
2. After reviewing your documents, we will contact you regarding the next steps.
Documents proving the right of inheritance include:
- The original certificate of inheritance certified by a notary (with the notary’s stamp);
- A valid ID document (required from all heirs);
- If there are minors among the heirs, a court order is also required.
