LHV Accessibility Statement
At LHV we believe that digital services must be available to everyone, regardless of any special requirements or the device being used. We therefore strive to make all of our digital channels as accessible as possible.
As of today, LHV’s digital channels are partially accessible and conform to the European Union standard EN 301 549. We have already taken a number of steps toward better accessibility:
Our core services work with screen-reader software and can be read at enlarged zoom levels.
Some views and functions are not yet fully accessible. We are aware of these issues and are actively working to remove them.
Accessibility in the Internet Bank
You can improve the usability of the Internet Bank with tools built into your browser and operating system.
Keyboard navigation
You can move around the LHV Internet Bank using only the keyboard. Press Tab to move the focus to the next element; the element in focus is outlined. Press Enter to activate the focused link.
The first two links that become active when navigating this way are “Skip to main content” and “Accessibility.” These links are visible only to keyboard users. “Skip to main content” bypasses the header and jumps straight to the page’s main section. “Accessibility” returns to this accessibility page.
Zooming content
To enlarge content, first use your browser’s built-in zoom. Click “Ctrl” and “+” (“Cmd” and “+” on macOS) to zoom in. Click “Ctrl” and “–” to zoom out. Click “Ctrl” and “0” to reset. Alternatively, hold Ctrl while scrolling the mouse wheel up or down.
You can also set a permanent zoom under Settings → Appearance → Font size in Google Chrome (Windows).
Most operating systems include magnification tools. In Windows type “Magnifier” in the Start menu and press “Enter”. In macOS: go to System Preferences → Accessibility → Zoom.
Screen-reader support
We build Internet Bank content to meet screen-reader requirements: images include descriptive alt text, and structural elements are ordered logically for assistive technologies. Compliance is regularly tested with NVDA and, on Apple devices, VoiceOver. Our goal is full compatibility with all major screen readers.
Accessibility in the Mobile App
The mobile app can be used on both smartphones and tablets. To improve accessibility, you can use the accessibility features provided by the operating system of your device.
Content Enlargement
To enlarge content, you can use either text size adjustments or the “Zoom” feature, which enlarges the entire screen, not just the text. Currently, text enlargement in the mobile app is supported on Android.
Text size can be adjusted from the device settings; the exact location depends on the manufacturer. For example, on Apple devices it is “Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size”, while on Samsung devices it is “Settings → Accessibility → Visibility enhancements → Size and zoom”. Accessibility settings vary by device, and we have added support for them to the app where possible.
Using a Screen Reader
The mobile app supports VoiceOver on iOS and TalkBack on Android. During development, we use screen readers to ensure that important information and functionality are accessible to all users.
