Changes to the price list of LHV banking services

01.03.2024

As of 1 April 2024, the USD interest rate for an LHV leveraged loan will change, and as of 1 May 2024, a new price list for banking services will apply. The changes mainly concern the depositing of cash. For clients who do not make large monthly cash deposits, not much will change.

The main change to the price list is related to cash deposits at LHV ATMs. Given the ever-increasing number of clients and the volume of transactions, following cash handling rules and managing the ATM network is very resource-intensive. Pursuant to the new price list, it is possible to make cash deposits free of charge in an amount of up to EUR 5,000 per month at LHV ATMs. A service charge of 0.3% on the amount will apply to any amount exceeding this. The service charge is calculated on a client basis, i.e., regardless of the number of bank cards.

For example, if a client has three bank cards and makes cash deposits of EUR 3,000 with the first card, EUR 2,000 with the second card and EUR 1,000 with the third card during the month, the deposits will be summed. The service charge of 0.3% of the amount is calculated on the amount exceeding EUR 5000, i.e., on EUR 1000, being EUR 3 based on this example.

As of 01.04.2024, the USD interest rate for an LHV leveraged loan will change. A leveraged loan offers the possibility to buy shares, even if you do not have any spare cash for new investments. Interest rates on leveraged loans are reviewed regularly and depend on the base rate of the respective currency and the overall interest rate environment. From 1 April, the new USD interest rate of the leveraged loan will be 9.75%, instead of 7.5%.

Changes to the price list of LHV banking services from 01.05.2024 are:

  • cash deposits at LHV ATMs are free of charge up to EUR 5000 per month. A service charge of 0.3% of the amount will apply to any amount exceeding this;
  • the service charge for cash deposits and withdrawals shall be calculated on a client basis (not on a card basis);
  • collateral valuation of home and private loans EUR 150;
  • monthly fee for an additional Platinum credit card of LHV private banking EUR 50;
  • securities transfer with foreign securities against payment EUR 25.
