As of 1 July 2025, a new value added tax rate of 24% will be valid instead of the current 22%. This is a regulatory change imposed by the state.
Here are a few important reminders for a smooth transfer in your day-to-day banking operations.
If you have concluded e-invoice standing order agreements to pay for various services, please review your payment limits and, if necessary, increase them. To do this, choose the following in the Internet Bank: Everyday banking → E-invoices → Choose the service e-invoice from the list → Order details and modification. The limit may also be left empty so that the payment is made irrespective of the amount.
The amount of service fees, which are subject to value added tax, will increase by the amount of the value added tax rate increase. For example, the change affects the management fee of securities and the monthly payment of the operational lease agreement. Our price list can be viewed on our website.
More information about the change of the value added tax rate is available on the website of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board.
We hope that reviewing and changing the limits of e-invoice standing order agreements will go successfully. This way your monthly payments will go through also after the value added tax rate is changed.
