LHV’s updated mobile app allows a new client to open an account

As of today, the possibilities to request money and to open an account for a new private client are available in the LHV mobile bank. LHV Pank has significantly improved the mobile bank app over the summer.

LHV’s mobile bank is constantly updated. In the summer period, the possibilities to order a bank card and to invest in securities were introduced on the app that relies on user-friendliness. “We have made significant improvements to the LHV mobile bank regarding both daily banking services as well as investment services. In the coming weeks, applying for different loan products will also be added to the Mobile Bank,” said Erki Kilu, Chairman of the Management Board of LHV Pank. “The opportunity to open an account in the LHV mobile app which was introduced today gives clients the possibility to communicate with LHV Pank using just their smart device. From opening an account and ordering cards, to investing and applying for loans. Now, there is no reason for a person to come to a bank office or use the regular Internet Bank for conducting their banking operations.”

It takes less than three minutes to open an account for a private client in the mobile bank. You only need a Mobile-ID or Smart-ID and an identification document at hand.

The possibility to request money and to easily pay the request has now been added to the LHV mobile bank. You can send the request for money to your contact via SMS, e-mail, or other channel suitable to you. If your friend is also a client of LHV, they are able to make the payment with just a few taps of the finger, and the money will be delivered in seconds.
 
Recently, the opportunity to quickly and easily order a new bank card was added to the LHV mobile bank. For this, you must get acquainted with the selection of bank cards under the subsection “Cards”, and choose the one suitable for you. The card will be sent to the client’s home via post. It is possible to set card limits in the mobile bank, which even enables one to raise the limit at the cashier’s, if need be. It is also possible to activate and block the card via the mobile app, for example, in the case of losing a card.

The LHV mobile bank stands out with the possibility to make convenient investment transactions. You can buy, sell and trade both Estonian and foreign securities. The mobile bank provides an excellent overview of the performance of the investment, prices, and graphs of the value of securities. In addition to the usual purchase and sale transaction, it is also possible to short sell instruments traded on US stock exchanges, i.e. to bet on their decline.
 
As before, LHV clients are able to get operative notifications regarding received payments, limits being reached, etc. The mobile bank provides an overview of the client’s loan agreements and, in the interest of convenience, clients are able to use the mobile bank without having to log in to the app every time, if their phone utilises strong authentication.
