Broad-cover travel insurance
The travel insurance is valid anywhere in the world for trips lasting up to 90 days. The sums insured apply for each insured person and insured event separately. The insurance covers, for example, medical assistance, damage to baggage, cancellation or interruption of the trip and missed departures, as well as the rental car deductible. Please bare in mind that most car rental companies may only accept credit card payments. The travel insurance applies to both business and personal trips, if you have an active Gold Card. Travel insurance is provided by the If Kindlustus. What does the travel insurance cover?
The purchase insurance included with the Gold Credit Card covers durable goods for which you have paid using your Gold Card, for a period of 180 days after the purchase. Insurance helps if the object should break, even if the fault is your own. In the case of purchase insurance the maximum insured amount is specified for each insured object, insured event and calendar year. The deductible for each insured event is 30 €.

To always ensure convenient travel and the best possible service, the LHV Gold Card may be supplemented with free mTasku Estravel Gold Card. Terms and conditions for becoming an Au-client
The prerequisite of becoming an Au-client is that you receive 2,000 € to LHV Pank every month or the volume of your assets at LHV Pank exceeds 50,000 €. Au-client’s monthly fee is 10 €.
Secure card payments online
To ensure security and raise the feeling of confidence when making payments on the Internet, LHV has added a new security feature to its bank cards. After entering card data and the confirmation code, you must log in to the LHV internet bank as an additional form of identification, or use the security code sent to your mobile phone via SMS.Read more

The travel insurance coverage is valid up for personal and business trips up to 90 days anywhere in the world. Family members travelling with you are also insured.
We recommend that you order the Gold Card in good time before the trip, as it can take up to a week for the card to arrive in the post and the insurance coverage will only take effect upon activation of the plastic card. If you ordered the virtual card, be sure to note that with virtual cards, the insurance coverage will take effect 72 hours after activation.
The insurance covers, for example, medical care, baggage losses, travel cancellation and interruption and delayed departure. Rental car excess insurance is also included.
- If you contract Covid-19 while abroad and need medical care as a result, we will provide up to 500,000 euros compensation for medical costs.
- If your trip is cancelled or interrupted because you or a travel companion contracted Covid-19 or was ordered to self-isolate, we will compensate up to 2,000 euros in costs related to travel curtailment per insured person.
Insurance coverage does not apply to loss events related to insufficient travel documents or other matters related to organization of travel. For example, if you are not allowed to enter a country due to lack of an appropriate coronavirus test or a country’s borders are closed, these expenses will not be covered. Nor are expenses related to Covid-19 testing and other documents necessary for travel covered. Also excluded: expenses incurred due to restrictions established on border crossing in the country of destination or country of transit. Be sure to read the travel advice posted by the Health Board and Ministry of Foreign Affairs while planning travel.

If your pay has not been transferred to LHV Pank for the past six months, please submit an account statement from the bank where your pay has been transferred to date.
1 An interest-free period is not applied for the credit limit withdrawn as cash from the credit account or transferred to the current account.
2 If the transaction from the credit account to the current account is concluded in the Client Office, a transaction fee of 2 € is added. No service fee will be applied to funds exceeding the credit limit – for example, if your limit is 500 €, but there is 600 € on your credit account, then fees will not be assessed for transferring 100 €.

The annual percentage rate of charge of the Gold Credit Card is 15.34% on the following sample conditions: limit 1,000 €, annual interest 18% (fixed), interest-free period of 36 days, repayment sum is 1,081.42 €, assuming that the limit is used immediately, in its full amount and returned in the course of one year in equal monthly instalments.
