How to transfer securities to LHV?

If you transfer

Move to the INVESTING category in the left-hand menu and select Instrument transfer under it.

  1. Transaction type – Free of payment

  2. Security – Baltic

  3. Transaction – to transfer securities, choose “Buy” for the transaction

  4. Account – choose the account for transferring the securities

  5. Security – choose the type of security to be transferred. Baltic securities can be found from the list by name, symbol or ISIN Code

  6. Quantity – quantity of securities to be transferred

  7. Price – price of one security (preferably purchase price)

  8. Trade date – the date of the transaction, usually today or the next working day if you enter the transfer request on a weekend

  9. Settlement date – the date when securities are transferred to your account, can be trade date or the next working day

  10. Account holder – the name of your other bank, from which you want to transfer the securities

  11. Counterparty name – your name

  12. Baltic securities account – the number of your securities account at another bank, from which you want to transfer the securities. If the field doesn’t show, then for the specific account holder the Baltic Securities account is not necessary.

You can monitor the status of your outstanding transfer request in the LHV internet bank section ‘ASSETS AND LIABILITIES’ → ‘Pending orders’.

Insert a free of payment securities transfer in your current bank

After submitting the free of payment securities transfer in LHV internet bank, also insert a similar transaction at your other bank.

“Savings, Investments” → “My Portfolio” → “Securities transfer”

SEB:
“Investing” → “Transactions with another person”

If you transfer
foreign securities:

Contact your current bank and obtain the necessary settlement instructions

  2. Security – Other

  3. Transaction – to transfer securities, choose “buy” for the transaction

  4. Security – choose “non-baltic”

  5. Account – choose the account for transferring the securities

  6. Security (ISIN code) – insert the ISIN-code

  7. Quantity – quantity of securities to be transferred

  8. Price – price of one security (preferably purchase price)

  9. Trade date – the date of the transaction, usually today or the next working day if you enter the transfer request on a weekend

  10. Settlement date – the date when securities are transferred to your account, for foreign securities, at least the 5th working day after the trade date

  11. Custodian – the name of your other bank, from which you want to transfer the securities

  12. Name – your name

  13. Additional transfer details – the details of the depository account where the securities are held, i.e. the external custodian and account number of the bank’s nominee account, as well as the name of the credit institution where the nominee account is opened. To obtain this information, please contact your current bank. For example, in the case of securities traded on the U.S. stock exchange, the counterparty’s custody location information may include a DTC number.

    After entering the counterparty information and pressing the “Preview” button, we will show you the corresponding details of the LHV Bank’s nominee account. Save these details for later submission to the counterparty. For example, in the case of securities traded on the U.S. stock exchange, LHV’s settlement details are:
